Adding URLs and Keywords

The first thing to do when you start using RankTrackr is to add the URLs and keywords you want to track. RankTrackr checks and refreshes the position of your websites (URLs) by specified keywords once per day.

Adding URLs

To add the URLs, follow the next steps:

  1. Click "Add URLs" button in the dashboard,
  2. Choose search engine where you want to track the rankings,
  3. Enter the URL or multiple URLs (one per line),
  4. Click "Add URLs."

You can enter the full URL, starting with http such as or just the domain name such as

Adding Keywords

To add the keywords, follow the next steps:

  1. Click "Add keywords" button under the website tab,
  2. Enter the keywords (one per row),
  3. Set the location settings for tracking,
  4. Click "Add keywords."

Before adding keywords, make sure that you added the URL or website for which you want to track the keyword rankings.

After you added the keywords, RankTrackr will gather the ranking information for the specified location settings will automatically refresh the data on a daily basis.  Besides  the ranking  information,  you can also access Adwords data such as search volume for a specific keyword (both local and global), estimated CPC, the number  of indexed pages, and much more. You can pull up this data with column customization.

Location Settings

RankTrackr supports advantaged location tracking.  Besides  the language setting, it provides accurate tracking on all possible levels:

  • Country,
  • Region,
  • Zip code,
  • City.

Tracking Subpages

RankTrackr will pick all the subpages (subfolders) with the root URL that you specified for rank tracking.

For instance:

  • If you enter it will pick all the results from that website,
  • If you enter it will only pick the subpages from your blog.

If you'd like to track a subdomain as well as your domain (for instance, as well as, you should add it separately.

Search Engines

Today RankTrackr supports the following search engines:

  • Google,
  • Youtube,
  • Bing,
  • Yahoo,
  • Google Places search (extremely useful for local SEO).
