How it works?
RankTrackr uses some unique mechanisms in the background, which assure the highest possible accuracy for rank tracking on all global and local levels.
The main 3 concepts that we use in order to provide such accuracy are:
- Closest access point allocation,
- Simulating the location and user,
- High accuracy mode.
Closest access point allocation
When you add a keyword for rank tracking, RankTrackr will look up and allocate an access point closest to the Google data-center, according to the keyword's location setting. This approach ensures that there are no anomalies in ranking information that can happen due to latency in synchronization between different Google data-centers.
Simulating the location and user
High and normal accuracy mode
RankTrackr is the only tracker that by default provides accessing information with "10 per page" results setting, which provides much more accurate SERP ranking data than usual "100 per page" setting used by other trackers. The difference between these 2 modes is that "100 per page" setting will merge together results from the same domain, which can cause anomalies that you would want to avoid especially when tracking top rankings.
